Twelve people have been injured in a shooting at a pub near Scarborough Town Centre, Toronto police say.

Toronto police said three suspects who were armed with an assault rifle and two handguns entered Piper Arms at 520 Progress Avenue. Police said they were looking for three male suspects. They initially indicated that the suspects might have fled in a silver car and that one was wearing a black balaclava.Police have set up a command post at the scene. “I have spoken to Chief Demkiw and he has assured me all necessary resources have been deployed,” Chow said.
