Sonic the Hedgehog's current comic series from IDW Publishing has seen some pretty impressive combo moves. Here are some of the craziest.
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Over the course of more than 13 arcs, IDW Publishing's Sonic the Hedgehog has featured some of the wildest attacks in 65 issues, but the most memorable moves are the ones that involve more than one character.
11 Tails Throws Sonic In Mid-Air Tails' ability to throw Sonic upwards with enough destructive force to take down a large Badnik, all while flying, is impressive for the same reason as Knuckles being able to glide with Amy Rose. Of course, Tails has already proven himself more than capable of carrying Sonic in midair, but doing so while simultaneously throwing is a whole other matter.
8 Amy Rose Hits Sonic Upwards to Get Him Propelled By Propellors This maneuver is the less impressive version of Sonic and Amy's best combo, but any move that involves Amy using her Piko Piko Hammer to hit Sonic like a ball definitely warrants attention. Moreover, Sonic incorporates another Badnik's attack into his overall tactic, so, technically, this combo involves three characters as opposed to just two.
5 Sonic and Amy's Croquette Bomber The more involved version of Amy's move where she uses her hammer to hit Sonic into the air ironically debuted much earlier in the series and, consequently enough, in the second issue. Called the Croquette Bomber, the combo begins by Sonic spin dashing in place before Amy proceeds to whack him with her hammer like a croquet mallet. The two hedgehogs have performed the move twice so far, but the first was definitely the most destructive.
