Peel Regional Police Const. Sarah Patten is asking people to be aware of any packaging or labels that include sodium nitrite
Peel police are concerned people may have items linked to self-harm as 11 police forces join the investigation into Kenneth Law, the Mississauga man accused of aiding suicides.
Patten asked members of the community to be alert to packaging or labels identifying sodium nitrite, including hoods or masks that can be used to cause self-harm, saying police are concerned people are in possession of those items. “If you or someone you know received a package containing the described items from these businesses or have information about an incident, please contact your local police service.”
