$100M hospital, a joint venture of Geisinger and Highmark Health, opens in Lycoming County

The full-service hospital contains 20 in-patient rooms, emergency room, intensive care unit, surgical suites and other facilities.

Geisinger Medical Center Muncy is located along Route 220 just north of Interstate 180.PENNSDALE – A new Geisinger hospital in eastern Lycoming County began accepting patients Monday.

The 120,000-square foot, three-story facility includes an emergency room, clinical decision unit, intensive care unit, surgical suites and primary and specialty care areas. A multispecialty clinic provides adult and pediatric primary care, orthopedics, cardiology, ophthalmology and women’s health services.
