Collision involving a car and truck remains under investigation.
Getty Images/iStockphotoA 10-year-old girl was killed in a car-truck accident in Lancaster County Wednesday evening.
East Hempfield Township police said the 6:14 p.m. crash occurred when a Ford Taurus traveling west on Lititz Road crossed into Route 72 and was struck by a car carrier that was southbound on that highway. The child, a passenger in the car, was pronounced deceased at the scene by members of the Lancaster County Coroner’s staff. Police had not released the identities of any of the persons involved by publication of this post, and it was also unknown if there were any other injuries.
