Why does everyone ship Wednesday and Enid?
Wednesday became the most-watched series on Netflix of all time in the few weeks following its release, with so much attention on the series, it was bound to generate some unpopular opinions. Wednesday has been viewed over a quarter of a billion times, which eclipses the runner-up Stranger Things season 4 by over 100 million views .
Whether it's shipping Wednesday with Tyler, Xavier, Enid, or no one, there are strong opinions about how Wednesday should approach relationships in Wednesday season 2 and beyond. Tyler turned out to be a literal monster, Xavier, although he wasn't actually the antagonist certainly had his flaws, and Enid and Wednesday have just solidified their friendship, introducing romance is certain to complicate things.
In a school for psychics, witches, and other dark creatures of the night, Enid doesn't exactly fit in like everyone else. And, when Enid develops a crush on Ajax, she largely gets ignored and stood up. It's possible that her enthusiasm and need to be bubbly and bright could be an attempt to hide or bury her real feelings.
5 Weems Was Only Likable Because Of Gwendoline Christie The wonderfully talented Gwendoline Christie plays Principal Weems in Wednesday. Christie rose to widespread popularity after having played Brienne of Tarth in Game of Thrones from 2012 to 2019 and this popularity arguably altered audience opinion of Principal Weems. Christie creates a charismatic and entertaining character as Weems, but when viewed in isolation, the actions of her character are absolutely unforgivable.
