Many actors want to perform in Western movies for the challenge of embodying frontier history, but they're terribly miscast for roles in the genre.

5 Sean Connery in Shalako Shalako features clueless European aristocrats taking their hunting party deep into Apache territory, and while it might seem like Sean Connery would be playing a Scottish lord, he's actually the titular tracker. As Shalako, he saves Brigitte Bardot's countess from being ravaged and keeps the pampered foreigners safe while they doddle around on Apache land.
