Walk your pets during cooler parts of the day, such as early morning or late evening, and stick to grassy areas when possible. 6. Limit exercise: Reduce the intensity and duration of exercise during hot weather. Opt for shorter walks and avoid strenuous activities. Pay attention to your pet’s behaviour and watch for signs of overheating.
