One teen died and a second was wounded in a double shooting in the 2200 block of Alabama Avenue SE.
One teenager was killed and a second was wounded Tuesday night in a double shooting in Southeast Washington, the D.C. police said.
The shooting was reported about 9 p.m. at 22nd Street and Alabama Avenue SE, said Officer Beth Grannis, a police spokeswoman. It apparently occurred outdoors in a residential and commercial area near Suitland Parkway.The death of the more seriously wounded of the two was confirmed by Lt. Dien Tran, a watch commander in the 7th District.
