Israel’s police said they had killed at least one attacker and are carrying out searches for additional assailants. Residents in the area were instructed to stay at home. Magen David Adom said it received the first reports of a shooting at a gas station near the town of Kokhav Yair, located on the Israeli side of the boundary with the West Bank, at around 10:30 am. Several other shooting reports were received soon afterward, including one inside the West Bank.
Over the weekend, Israeli troops shot at a car in the occupied West Bank that they said was accelerating towards troops, killing a 7-month-old Palestinian baby and wounding his parents, the Palestinian health ministry said. — This story has been corrected to include the right location where the Israeli man was killed.
