1 dead, 1 injured after shots were fired into their parked car, police say
The Houston Police department responded to a shooting Saturday night where one died and one was injured.A man was shot dead in a car in north Houston Saturday night, according to the Houston Police Department.
Two cars were parked near each other near 640 East 11th St. and shots were fired into a white Cadillac, fatally wounding one person and grazing another, Houston Detective M. Providence told On Scene reporters. The second car, believed to be a white sedan, fled the scene.When officers arrived shortly after 8 p.m. the car passenger was attempting to revive the driver, but he was pronounced dead. The passenger with a gunshot wound, believed to be a graze, was taken to the hospital, Providence said.
