Elections P.E.I. has launched a registration event to help list and register eligible voters. Residents of P.E.I. will receive a registration card in the mail between this week and the first week of February.

Voters will receive a registration card in the mail between this week and the first week of February. The cards will list all occupants at each address according to those registered on the provincial voter registry. Tim Garrity, P.E.I.'s chief electoral officer, said Elections P.E.I. is mailing cards to voters to ensure they receive the correct voter information card ahead of the election. "When it comes time for the provincial election, we want to ensure as many voters as possible receive their correct voter information card in the mail," said Garrity."By taking these steps for our registration event now, we will be better equipped to deliver VIC’s to the right people at the correct address.” Residents are asked to check the information on the card and use either the QR code on the card to update their own information or call Elections P.E.I. if there are changes as to who lives at their address.seven days a week or by calling the Elections P.E.I. call centre at 1-888-234-8683, Monday through Friday, 830 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. To be eligible to vote in the next provincial general election, a person must be 18 or will be on election day, a Canadian citizen on or before election day. Additionally, voters must be living in P.E.I. for the six months immediately preceding the date of the election and living in the polling district on the date of the election.
